I tried listening to the San Diego broadcast last night. I lasted about five innings. How that team took two of three from the Reds is a mystery. The Pirates might sweep that series.

I don't know if there is any validity to this, but the general consensus is that if Westbrook does not have a good outing tonite he will be dropped to long relief. That will be long relief for Card fans, who are totally fed up with him, and the way MM continues to use him.
Edit: Lynn is starting, not Westy, I see. the red hot Jon Jay leading off.... Kolton Wong Gone batting 2nd with Carpenter on the pine. Wong has has done little at the plate so far, but Kosma may be losing his SS job soon to Descalso.

Brews bat around on Lyne for 5.....5-3 Brews in the 5th...Molina a 2B and a Homer....4 for 5 yesterday....he's out of control!
Puig just hit a go ahead HR in the 8th in Miami and rounded the bases in a Rosales like 16.0 seconds.
Very disappointing effort by the Padres the last two nights.

I guess Wed. the Pirates will sweep...the Cards, with Westbroke pitching and Yadi sitting (day game) will lose BIG. What will the Reds do?
I hope they keep throwing Westbrook out there every fifth day.
Brew Crew trailing 7-5 in the bottom of the 8th. Two on and two out. One swing of the bat territory.
Update: An HBP loaded the bases. But our main man, Juan Francisco, whiffed.
Brewers are playing the game under protest. It seems the Cardinals brought in their closer in the eighth inning.

Cards end up winning 8-6, but a seriously good job by the Brewers. They sure didn't give up after being down 6-0 in the first two innings.
Felix Pie the once top-100 prospect for the Cubs, was called up by the Pirates and lead off today's game.
He got a hit, of course.
