Reds need to go to legendary coach Kent Murphy for some bunting tips.

I'd love Dusty forever if he pinch hit for Izturis here.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Izturis lines out to 2nd. Hit it well but Gennett makes a diving catch

    I really hate Scooter Gennett.

Huh, I thought Votto fouled that.

BTW, Marty says Izturis is hitting .333 with RISP. 3-0 Reds.

Brilliant check-swing by Votto to distract the catcher and lead to a run-scoring passed ball. He should get an RBI for that, IMO.

Nice start, but should be 5-0 Reds.

We should be paying him the 20 million dollars!
