Blaming Price for the Reds is like blaming the driver of a car when the brakes give out. This franchise is being milked, and Price has nothing to do with it.

I keep seeing people post that firing Price won't solve all of the Reds' problems. Who is saying it will? I haven't found one person making that argument.

But I have seen (and I do believe) that he is part of the problem. Getting rid of him (and some of the coaching staff) is one thing that could make this team better.

If the Reds lose this series and/or get swept, I don't think there's any way Price is managing on Monday. Bob's getting humiliated at home by his former team. His fellow former co-owners have to be asking him if he made the right move buying the Reds.

I had hopes that Price would understand how to handle his pitchers better than Dusty, and time has shown the opposite. I don't know what's wrong with changing opinions based on new information or evidence.

I'm not anti-Price. I don't think he's been a major problem. I think maybe he is/can be a fine manager.

But when a team is going like this, you have to make a change. You can't change all the players. You can't change the owner. So the manager needs to get paid to sit on the beach the rest of the year. It's better for everyone at this point.

I thought so too. But I now realize that Price was Dusty’s pitching coach, so he was likely behind many of Dusty’s frustrating pitching moves. It now makes sense that Price handles the pitching staff the same way Dusty did.

Well, DustyBall didn't get us very far either, and a lot of us didn't want Price because hiring from within rarely turns out well. But I am so afraid now that they are just going to just promote from within and nothing will really change. I'd rather they get someone who has never even been to Cincinnati and get a new staff with a new set of eyes on the team.

Dusty got us to the playoffs, say what you want about the guy, he is a proven winner!

Which would you rather have, a miserable failure of a playoff run, or a miserable failure of a complete decade. Which is what we are headed for. I'll take failing in the playoffs thank you very much!!!
