BP slipping reminded me of the constant Larkin groin injuries doing that.

0-2 pitches should not automatically be balls.

0-2 pitches with the bases loaded shouldn't be hittable.

It really wasn't a bad pitch. He blooped it over the shortstop's head, it happens. Can't fault him for making a quality pitch, it's not like he fed him a fastball right down the pipe.

Passed ball as Parra and Hanigan were not on the same page on that pitch

well this isn't going to well
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Would have been an easy DP if not for the passed ball

It was a bloop, it wasn't hit hard. But in that spot I want the batter to swing at something he can't hit. The pitch was a bit too good IMO.

If it is in the zone it is certainly capable of being a hit. Therefore you believe it must be a ball or you believe there are unhittable strikes. That's fine, but which is it?
