Sorry to hear this. Wondered where he went. RIP.

Having better players makes "the right time" or "the big hit" happen a lot more often. PLUS PLUS

Fame is man given: be thankful.

Wow-so sorry to learn of this. R.I.P.

That's awful. Rip
"But I do know Joey's sister indirectly (or foster sister) and I have heard stories of Joey being into shopping, designer wear, fancy coffees, and pedicures."
Goodness, what awful news. I was wondering what had happened to him; he was such a prolific poster and then silence. He will certainly be missed here.
Poor guy. Only 48.

I'm very sorry to hear about this. 48 is way too young. It's too years younger than myself. He had one of best usernames on RZ. I really liked than name. I hope RZ admin will retire than name in his honor.
Just out of curiosity I looked to see when he posted last. It was June 25th in a Reds/A's game thread.

Wow. 48 is too young! Rest in peace Vottomatic.
Very sorry to hear this. A true Reds and Cincinnati sports fan, and way too young. Such terrible news.
Kevin Gregg and Jason Marquis brought back vivid memories of the Lost Decade.

Jason Marquis: DFA'd June 5, 2015
Oh wow how tragic and sad. He always seemed like a good guy. RIP Vottomatic
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
