This is such awful news. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Very sad to hear. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I often wonder what happened when posters suddenly disappear. There are a few others I'm currently thinking about. Hope all is well with them.

Very sad. Obviously a loyal and passionate fan from his posts here.

I am saddened by the loss of our fellow Reds fan. May the Lord bless his family and friends in their loss.

Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and those who knew him.

This is an idea, but would it be possible to pay tribute to Vottomatic in some way on this forum? Either naming a forum after him similar to ORG or something of that effect?

Very sad to hear. While we found out about it late, his family will be in my prayers tonight.

Very sorry to hear this. As many have said, a good reminder of the community RZ has become over the years. 48 is far too young, hoping he didn't have young kids that are now trying to deal with this.

Maybe the game thread forum (that's where he was normally at 'his best")? He was certainly one whom really seemed to enjoy participating in the game threads as an area to react emotionally (to both good and bad situations) and enjoy the game.

The board will certainly be different without vottomatic. Can't say I always saw eye to eye with him, but he was certainly very passionate about baseball and the topics he took to heart, and brought a lot of energy to the board.

RIP Vottomatic! I hadn't heard from him in a few weeks. I guess now I know why.

    Prayers to his family.
