This is literally the best lineup of my entire tenure as a serious reds fan (circa 1998)

Here's Dbacks lineup. I read that Corbin had not won a road game since June 2. Let's hope that continues.

    1. A.J. Pollock (R) CF

    2. Martin Prado (R) LF

    3. Paul Goldschmidt (R) 1B

    4. Aaron Hill (R) 2B

    5. Matt Davidson (R) 3B

    6. Wil Nieves (R) C

    7. Gerardo Parra (L) RF

    8. Cliff Pennington (S) SS

    9. Patrick Corbin (L) P

Lot's of righty's in this lineup, hope Cingrani can get through 5 and Dusty can use a quick hook.

Maybe based on potential. Certainly not based on the 2013 numbers.

I've thought about it carefully and I'm definitely rooting for the Reds in this one. That makes somewhere in the neighborhood of 6000 in a row now when that's been the case. Just keeping the streak alive.

Nah, let's see Tony go eight innings with Ondrusek mopping up the ninth to preserve a lopsided Reds win.

Cingrani has been good against RHP, although he's allowed ten homers against them.

I have a lot of confidence in Cingrani, he's a real pitcher.

Today's a doggie day-- Bark in the Park Night! So if you hear any howling, there's a good excuse for it... assuming it's coming from the dogs.

Pop foul caught by Votto to the left is the first out.

This one is going to be very difficult. Corbin is the best pitcher in the National League after Harvey. The REDS have taken on some very good pitchers lately and got the better of them, but Corbin is in another league by himself.

It's not the end of the world if they don't win tonight. Win tomorrow and they win the series and stay on pace to win the Division.

It's going to be fun to watch how the REDS handle themselves against this quality of a pitcher. It should be like a playoff game.

    Lefty/righty isn't important with Cingrani.

If they lay off his slightly high fastball....they win....if they swing at it much...we win
