I wonder if anybody had it being 0-0 end of the first quarter.

It's 10-0 Alabama now but still....

The 10-0 didn't have much to do with UK, it was Bama's own screw ups that caused that. And now it's about to be 31-0

Raymond Sanders dismissed from team for repeat violation of team rules. Cody Quinn, DeMarco Robinson, and Jason Hatcher suspended for Saturdays evening tilt against Georgia.

    Ouch.

Darn, we would have had them if not for this.

There may be more. Said Stoops may not have announced all of them to avoid tipping too much to Georgia.

A far cry from 15 second suspensions or a list of ::snicker:: "core values" that get thrown out the window if a player can help you win a game, huh?

None of UK's players can help them win a game the rest of the way, so we have no idea if Stoops' approach is different. If he had suspended them prior to Alabama State, now that would have made a statement...

The starting RB and team's leading rusher the last two years wasn't going to help the team any? A WR who's third on the team in receptions and tied for first in receiving TD's wasn't going to help the team any? When it comes to discipline, Stoop obviously doesn't care how important you are to the team.

It's refreshing to see a coach not only set rules, but actually enforce them. If I were a UofL fan right now, I think I'd be in hiding, considering all the negativity surrounding their athletics department the last couple months. Winning is great, but winning with integrity is much more satisfying.

I'll retract my comment if Stoops does a 180 tomorrow and announces the players are eligible to play this week. I'm guessing that doesn't happen though.

Help them beat Georgia? Um, no.

I applaud Stoops for his courageous move to kick a senior off a 2-8 team that had no chance of winning either of its last two games anyway. He clearly means business now!

Classy stuff, UofL fan. Classy stuff.

That 2-8 team had UofL beat if not for shooting themselves in the foot. That 2-8 team played SC, at SC, to within seven points. But they have no chance against an unranked UGA team that's devastated by injuries? OK.

I have to hand it to you. You live up to the reputation Louisville fans have. Good work.

I mean, this is almost too funny to believe. When UofL went ahead 27-6 in the 4th quarter of a game they never trailed, I know I was thinking that Kentucky really had Louisville beat. So, so close.

I apologize for being not classy enough for you by inserting Louisville into this conversation. Oh, wait....

This is a UK thread. You inserted UofL by inserting yourself.

This is a Cincinnati Reds board. And WMR inserted UofL into the convo before I posted. But it was classy.

Michael Dyer... absolutely no guns, lol.

Good thing Charlie isn't in charge of disciplining the bball team or that "no disrespectin' the wimmenz might have increased his suspension from 15 seconds to 30.
