I entered the game thread in the 6th inning and there were 9 pages. We end up with 45 and counting!
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

Going out on a limb and say that Broxton will go back to the DL tomorrow and a fresh arm will be up from somewhere.

I can see Walt making a move for a reliever now.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

So do I and I also know that my 7 Yr old could've knocked that throw down to prevent another run from scoring. Just saying.

    I think so too.

Very nice outing by Chapman who really calmed things down, even though he was far from perfect. Nobody else on the team I would want out there in that spot.

Good at bat by Frazier in the eighth as well, kudos.

You have an unnatural and irrational hatred of Broxton.
