    Marian McPartland, RIP

    It's a sad day for the jazz world. Of course no one lives forever, but even her passing at 95 still leaves me melancholy. Never was there a softer pair of hands over the ivories.

    A true legend own the keys. RIP. Her writing about jazz is also really under-appreciated.
