    Goldschmidt is good.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

He was 6 inches from having a 2-run doubleFWIW. Just the way it's going for Ludwick right now.

Pretty much. He's had a good amount of nice swings only 20ish at-bats since coming back.

Reds batting right handed have the second worst OPS in the National League. Only the Marlins are worse.

So it's maybe about time for more of these guys to get hits that drop in 6 inches fair.

I've never heard anyone say "6-6-3 double play" before.

Maybe he should have taken a few of these before the game.

1-1 game from an Aaron Hill single.

I guess we're ignoring that the game is now tied. Oh, Tom Servo came through, thanks Tom.

Should we spend 10 pages talking about Votto's pick there?

My MLB.TV started acted up, had to go by what MLB.com told me.

Reds really got put some runs on the board, the middle part of Arizona's lineup isn't going quietly into the afternoon.
