Cozart walks on 4 pitches. Bases juiced for Slugger Latos.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I'd try for another walk if at all possible.

The Mighty Latos has struck out.

    He's no Chapman.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

It would be a shame to lose this game. Reds have a serious pitching advantage with Latos on the hill.

Three Ks for Mat, two outs in the top of the third, no score.

Thought Parra had a HR for sure. Long flyout to Bruce.

Low pitch count for Mat, only 32 pitches in three innings.

Loving Latos' low pitch count through 3 innings....32 pitches. Hopefully he can keep it going to give a much needed rest to the bullpen.
