Votto should be credited with an RBI walk.

What just happened with Votto? Gameday showed the first one as a strike and then the next three outside, a couple way outside, as if they were trying to intentionally walk him. Then a foul tip, and finally a ball to the other side for the walk.

More of a challenge with Latos. Bailey naturally seems to get a second wind late in games when he is on.

Listen, these guys are terrific young pitchers. Everybody has tendencies and issues. But these guys both seem to have long, very successful pitching careers ahead of them.

I prefer Latos to Bailey right now, based on consistency. But two wonderful arms.

Okay, so it was a wild pitch to score Choo. Wow. We'll take it.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

The RBI walk/wild pitch, Votto is a God!!!!

Since the Diamonbacks are short of pitchers, they didn't want to walk Votto and have the lefty pitch to Phillips. They decided to go after Votto, and if they got him, they would walk Phillips to get to the lefty Bruce.

Not saying I agree, but that was their thought process.

But since they've brought in the RH to face Philips, I'm not sure why they simply didn't walk Votto?

They were pitching to Votto. 3-2 count after a swing by Votto on a CB. Ball 4 got away from the catcher and went to the screen. Choo scored. They did not pitch around Votto or try to walk him. Pitcher had a lower arm slot and was getting alot of horizontal movement. Not pitching out.
