Not necessarily you Brutus...just in general. Some view a game thread in the same way they view being at the game. They speak their mind impulsively. Nothing wrong with that. I've certainly made my fair share of stupid statements, but I'm level-headed enough to come back and say later that I'm a doofus and I should rarely be taken very seriously. :O)
    Nice post.

Apparently people have never heard of minor league scouting reports. And believe it or not, some people watch non-Reds games too.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

Remember when this team would come back from deficits like this?

Aren't you the one that is always upset when players are criticized in threads? And you're upset because overreactions are being "judged?"

Nonetheless, if you have a problem with my calling out overreactions, feel free to take OBM's approach and send me a profanity laced private message chewing me out.

If people have the right to overreact, I have a right to respond to it and point out that it's an overreaction.

Just stop it. You had no clue what Davis' reputation was in the minors. You were making an assumption based on a few Reds games.

At least be man enough to admit it instead of making excuses for your frustration.
