    8/25/13 - Reds vs. Brewers

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Hilarious! Last night's game thread discussion was who would have to sit after a productive night at the plate....Heisey or Ludwick. Looks like both.

It certainly would be nice to see Reynolds wrap up this series for the Reds. Here's hoping the Brewers don't foil that plan.

    Isn't Estrada a leftie?

Paul hasn't played for a while, so he needs some reps.
But Heisey is hot and Ludwick finally looked better at the plate.
Hannahan was very good in the field last night also.

    Let's see how it goes.

Estrada is a righty who likes to give up the long ball. He's been pretty good since coming off the DL.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

Short (5-11) Mexican RHP who went to high school and college in the US. He came to the US when he was a toddler.

Here's a nice article about him and Romo for the WBC

    Is Cingrani DL'd?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Completely predictable. Ludwick finally seeing the ball and making good swings/contact and Heisey is 9 for his last 20 with 3 HR, 7 RBI and 7 runs

    and a triple AAA pitcher

    Reds win 7-5 Xavier 2-4 2 RBI

It's all part of a new Reds incentive program, Homer For A Day Off.

Makes sense to sit Ludwick for a day game after a night game.

Paul basically hits RH pitchers who throw fast balls. It's a decent match up for him.

I'm good with XP getting his ABs...I agree, I think he has a good day.
