Reynolds gets his ERA below 7.00 for first time. Hopefully going lower still.
Phillips has dove twice today at balls that he had to know he couldn't get to. Yesterday (or perhaps it was Friday) there was a play where it looked like he could have had it if he dove. I'm wondering if there wasn't a bit of a discussion in the clubhouse about that...
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Reds play the Dodgers again? Ugh. Wish they.had gotten them early on when they weren't on fire.
