He really slowed down before the non-slide, he flat out wussed it!

If good old Vern Rapp was Reds manager, Choo would, have slid. Rapp always had a sign in the clubhouse:

I'm sure that 60% success rate has gm's drooling.

Dusty won't publicly discipline a player like that. Not how he operates.

    2 Thoughts:
    1. I wonder how many times in the history of baseball someone has stolen 2nd base immediately after taking ball four.

    2. I've mentioned before that this may be one of the worst baserunning teams in baseball history. I'd have to think it's unprecedented for one team to have 3 players get thrown out when they would have otherwise been easily safe, simply because they didn't slide.
I may not be fast, but I sure am slow.

You can't start randomly singling guys out and benching them for a brain cramp. Plenty of guys have had moments like that during the year and no one has been pulled.

True. I love Choo, but that was as bad as it gets. I'd have taken him out.

Well...we've seen him get on BP in that past in the dugout after bad plays. Somehow I don't think he would do that to Choo for some reason.

    Choo sneezed away that opportunity.
