Segura sneaks one through for a single.

Nice throw from Mes, I'm looking more wrong on him by the day. Just needed big league reps.

The replay suggests Choo's baserunning gaff was yet another Mark Berry Special.

Choo knew he was dead when he heard Berry yell "Go". A slide would have simply torn up his knee or ankle and ended his season.

    Mark. Berry.

I just watched the play on Gameday. Choo was in if he slid. It is on choo not Berry.

Mark Berry has nothing to do with that play. Even if he yelled, that play is right in front of Choo, it's his call. The only time you really need a base coach is going first to third on a ball to RF and rounding third to score.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

Maybe LuCroy would have gotten blown up, but not Choo. His chances at being safe were good with a hard slide.
