The Cards are a better hitting team than the Reds, the Reds have to out-pitch them if they want to win.

Since this has turned into a beer discussion, maybe we could get them drunk before the next few games... Or we could poison them. We've all seen Breaking Bad I'm sure.

Teams with any semblance of offense have a great shot at beating the Reds. I like our matchup with the Pirates over even a team like the Brewers.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

I am sick of their John Cena type physiques though. That team has the best strength and conditioning program in baseball.

This confuses me a little. Holliday is the only "cena-type" and he was like that long before the cardinals. Who else is a "cena type"

Even when this team makes the playoffs, I'm not confident that Hoover and Lecure can hold down the 8th. They've both had great seasons, but I just don't see it happening.

Unless this offense can start producing runs, I'm seeing another playoff fail.

I hate to say it, it's been a fun season.

You realize the title of this thread is "Sick and tired of the Cardinals", right? It's a venting thread about hating the Cardinals. If you're a Cards fan, then why are you even in this thread? I don't get it. I'm not going to a Cardinals message board to read a thread entitled, "I hate the Reds", and then interject my two cents on the matter.

    There, I feel better.

I want to crush the cardinals and I hope the Reds do to.

Re: Sick and tired of the cardinals

    Give me a break:

    cardinals vs Reds: .292/.352/.496/.847
    cardinals vs pirates: .236/.311/.314/.625

Somebody needs to reevaluate how to pitch the cardinals. It's simply not working.

cardinals vs winning teams (including Reds):

    .260/.323/.404/.727

    Dear Reds Pitching Staff:

Hi, The 2013 Cardinals are an OK team. They are not the 27 Yankees.

Pitch them better from here on out.

    Thank you,

    Everybody

I like the cubs and their total dislike of the cardinals. I will buy a stupid cubs fan a beer just for the spirit they show in opposition of the cardinals every single year because it shows they are not that stupid, they were just born that way (a cubs fan).

Re: Sick and tired of the cardinals

I have to say how important this race is and what it means to beat back these awful cardinals. The Reds have the pieces to take care of business and I still believe they will. Players like Carpenter, Adams, Craig, etc are going to be around a while. Don't let them succeed in carrying the awful tradition of cardinals baseball forward. Getting waxed like they have this year is not good form. Snuff these awful cardinals out.
