Choo spent years in the Cleveland organization and less than one season here. Not sure Baker can be blamed for the way he plays the game.

Runners on the corners as Phillips singles.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

    At least:
1 made the pitcher work a bit

2 guaranteed they will get two extra plate appearances at the end of the game

STL feed on MLB Network just showed former Cubs GM Jim Hendry in the press box with Walt J. Anybody know what that's about?
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Jeff Locke is beginning to remember he's Jeff Locke. He wasn't going to finish with an ERA that low while having such a poor K/BB ratio.
    I miss Adam Dunn.
