I heard Mat Adams went to a restaurant and ate all the food in the restaurant and they had to close the restaurant.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Homer might actually be tiring. He's losing velocity on the heater. Unlike Bailey. Might want to get someone up shortly. Nearly 90 pitches in this heat.

Bailey thought he had a strikeout on a breaking ball, instead it goes down as ball four. 1st and 2nd.

And there's the first walk from Homer. 2 on, 2 outs. He got squeezed on that one I think.

I heard Adams was going to a restaurant that had an all you can eat buffet, so I shorted the stock and made enough to retire.

I thought so too. Looked at Gameday, it was on the edge of the black. Who knows.

If Bailey can go one more inning, he should....giving 3 innings to our bull pen...I don't know...the Cards did it to us in 2010 I believe....that was awful..
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

I hope Paul Janish is getting warm in the Reds pen.

Hannahan helps Frazier avoid falling below .230 BA. Pinch hitting for him.
