If the Cards win this game it would suck big time!

Carpenter out on a grounder-- Cardinals do not get the first batter on.

I agree. BP is arrogant but the man likes to win. I wish the rest of the team would show some fire from time to time.

No but the team needed someone to do something like that, even if it was completely outrageous.

Or for people to respond to people?

There is no such thing as "fire"....no metric to prove.

Homer did exactly what he needed to do there. Give up nothing, not even flinched.

Brandon Phillips to shallow right for a base hit.

I would like to see that Cards bullpen trashed before the night's end.

I think it's an overreaction but I think people need to lighten up. Though it may be misplaced, he's just frustrated like everyone here. His outburst wasn't classless, it was just misplaced anger.

I think people need to be a little less judgmental. Athletes have emotions too and sometimes they vent them. Phillips is guilty of wearing his emotions on his sleeve but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Like I said, in this case, he overreacted but frankly people are tired of thinking this team doesn't care... well guess what? Phillips is proving he does.

You predicted the Reds would score the measly amount of 5 runs.

    Negative Nancy I would say.
