    Cueto throws BP

BHam said his stuff was nasty...Fay says no solid contact for any of 7 batters. Sure would be nice to have him back healthy.

Any word on whether he changed his pitching motion? Or he is still twisting the night away?

I read somewhere that he was doing a "modified Tiant" but all these pitches were from the stretch.

To be fair, he faced Hamilton, Soto, HRod and DRob. I'm not sure when the last time any of those guys made solid contact against anyone.

I kid, I kid. Sort of.

Joe Nuxhall threw BP into his sixties.

Back to Fay's post, it doesn't matter whether anyone made contact, but whether Cueto can throw without fear of aggravating the injury. I think we know he can get guys out in a game. Did he alter his motion?

It was a simulated game today. Different than BP?

Well, I'd say a couple starts in the minors and then have him go for the WC game. He is our #1, don't want to hurt his feelings.

I figured. The Nuxy fact, while interesting, has nothing to do with this then...which is what I thought.

If it had actually been BP then it would. A simulated game is different; please see the title of the thread. Batting practice is lobbing balls to hit.

I see the erroneous title of the thread.

Like I said that is an interesting fact. But it's irrelevant now that we know the thread title is erroneous.

To the untrained eye, it could appear that your post was saying "so what about Cueto, a 60 year old could do the same". Maybe that's what you were saying, since you were under the impression (having been misled) he threw BP.
