    Greg Reynolds

There's a nice, lengthy profile here on Reynolds.

"I haven't been in a meaningful game in a long, long time, as far as the team," Reynolds said. "Never played on a winning team in the minor leagues. So it's been a long time since I've felt I'm doing this for the team, for the playoffs, rather than just my career to get myself back on track. So that's fun. It's a good thing to be a part of."
I liked what we saw of him in Denver, but I think he needs a few more starts before deciding what his true value really is.

Very good read. I certainly wish him the best and it's nice to have some (seemingly) capable SP depth stashed at AAA.

Would not surprise me to see Reynolds in somebody's rotation next year.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    Re: Greg Reynolds

I look at the Greg as that border line pitcher who just needs to figure out one more pitch and he could be truly good, and I think he could be really good....he either needs to add some speed to his fastball or he needs to add a pitch....his backdoor FB is dominant but batters know its coming when he its his go to pitch almost 90% of the time....he does not have that deceptive delivery like Cingrani so he needs to rely on location and speed and he has the location part down pretty good....

I would hate to see him in another rotation...I would love to see him in the pen, he would be a great 2 inning guy IMO.....he has the stuff that can fool a batter once or twice but they usually figure that back door heater out by mid game...I like the guy...hope he sticks around
