"Great Eight" Reunites For Joe Morgan Weekend

MLB had to approve of Rose's participation in this. Wish I could be there.

I'll be there on Saturday and I'm SUPER stoked about this news! This should be a fun weekend and hopefully the Reds win a few games during it too!

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

I'm unbelievably excited about this. That is some serious baseball history gathered together one more time.

Just ordered 3 tickets for Friday Fireworks....RF seats 5 rows back.

Can't go Saturday but game vs Dodgers, watch Bruce and Puig play RF up close, great 8 appearance on field and fireworks....right at regular ticket price.

Locals are the lucky dogs on this one. Will probably be the last time the BRM eight will ever be together in one place.

Not likely, they are still going to do status for Pete and Tony.

Of course this weekend of all the weekends when I am always home and have nothing to do will instead be in Sf on a business trip watching a Giants and Diamondbacks game.

Why do the baseball Gods hate me ?????

We can hope good health holds out for everyone for a long time. The other side of 70 is coming way too fast for the rest of the BRM which is almost unfathomable.

If you buy a Honda from Joe Morgan Honda this weekend, you can go to a dinner with Morgan, Bench, pPerez, and Rose.

Pay attention to the open sky

Sure would like to see those Big Red Machine players walk into that clubhouse and give them a pep talk about what is expected to win it all. And its not playing with lack of Focus like they have alot of times this year..And maybe the Awe of those guys wakes up these bats more consistently
