Well that's a silver lining. Runner at third tagged out.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

We're gonna have to take our lumps in Colorado unfortunately. The plus is that Bailey and Latos are pitching against the Cardinals in the next series.

Really bone head player there by the Rocks. No clue what he was thinking.

Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)

So, is Corey Dickerson the son of former Reds CF'ers Corey Patterson and Chris Dickerson?

Good job by Simon to stop the bleeding in that inning.

Problem I see is bullpen usage. This looks like the kind of series where runs will be scored, starters may not work that long. Potential is for Reds to burn through the bullpen.

This game is still winnable but Dusty needs to avoid going overboard using his pen. Need them reasonably fresh for the Cards next week.

Even when he was faster, I never thought he ran down to first base well. One reason for all the DPs.

Bronson's ERA was over 7 here before tonight. I'm not surprised and won't be the rest of the series unless we score some runs. I don't think it will happen, sadly.
