Mets are spanking the Nationals. The Nats August burst is fizzling pretty quickly.

Reynolds having a hard time locating his knuckle curve in warmups. We have a view from right behind him watching. Price telling him to raise him arm and finish...flying too much from the side. Just passing that along

I may have heat stroke, so excuse my potentially dumb question: If the Reds win, will they gain a game no matter who wins in the Pirates/Cards game?

No - if they win they stay the same behind the leader but gain on the team that loses for the first WC

So you're saying we should all do something else tonight?
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I'm liking this Votto-Bruce 3-4 combo. Will it last or is Dusty just waiting for Ludwick to get his feet?
