Reds could really use a third baseman next year.

Chapman hasn't pitched in a week. Hope they bring him in for to finish this.

    Get me Aramis Ramirez.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I think it's a joke about Votto forgetting how many outs there was the other night.

I would love that, with Frazier as the super sub.

Maybe it's something obvious I'm missing, but I can't seem to wrap my head around that one.
No, a game that goes at least five innings (or 4.5, if the home team is ahead) is an official game. If that official game was tied at the time it was called, then it was complete and would have to be made up in its entirety. (Opening Day 2000--Ken Griffey Jr.'s first game as a Red--was an example of this.) All statistics from such a game were considered official. Three or four years ago, Bud Selig changed the rule so that a tie game called after five or more innings would be suspended, and then resumed from the point of suspension at a later date.

Interestingly, games called because of darkness (as sometimes happened at Wrigley Field prior to August 8, 1988) were not considered completed official games, but were suspended games regardless of the score. Such a game would be completed immediately prior to the next scheduled game at that venue between the two clubs.

Nice Klu. Thanks. It just wasn't something that happened often enough for me to be sure.

    So I am slow tonight.

I'm going to blame it on being tired.
