25 games to go after today. Reds have shown no hint of improvement since the end of May. Doesn't make for an optimistic outlook for the one game playoff.
I'm guessing that was their high water mark, record wise.

This in a nutshell is the never ending problem on this board. I'm not saying either side is right but, one side is clearly on the most other teams would kill to be in the Reds shoes, in the playoffs anything can happen, etc. The other side feels this isn't enough and the Reds should be battling for home field advantage not blowing numerous chances to gain in the standings.
