I think Cozart is now 5th in BA on this team.

    Pretty amazing recovery.

I'm fine with this...just so long as Joey doesn't try to change anything or incorporate anything that Carpenter does. Watch him...fine.

Cozart just has to walk more. This is what kills his OBP.

Have to admit I've always liked those stripes.

The Reds should try it....maybe the day they once again use navy blue instead of black.

    Dear Thom and Chris,

Please stop knob-slobbering all over the Cardinals. We get it. They're good. You don't have to keep fawning over them. It's getting as bad as when Grande was doing games. It's embarrassing.

Agreed, but I'm not optimistic. Looks like he's basically repeating 2012.

Which is fine considering where he was a little while ago.

Bases loaded, two outs, Reds up, eighth inning, lead by four. 2-2 count. Now full.

This is the spot Dusty tried to avoid all year breaking up the lefties. Here's the test.

    7-2 Redlegs on a R(B)BI
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Bruce walks as did Votto against the lefty. Dusty was wrong. 7-2.

Very impressed by JB laying off that pitch.

I can't find what happened to the ump (Brian O'Nora) but I did find this. It wouldn't surprise me if it was the same thing. I thought he swallowed a bug, it's how he was acting. This fits too.
