Can Wainwright pitch tomorrow and the next day too?

How can this team look absolutely lifeless against guys like Wily Peralta and Edinson Volquez and then absolutely tattoo a 20-game winner and one of the best in the game two straight starts?

    Baseball is a crazy game.

I like Bruce more as time goes on.

The player and the person. Solid guy----zero drama.

It so much worse than when Grande did it. Grande was a Cardinal announcer, and he did it because the Cardinal organization always was in his heart.

No idea why Thom does it.

I need 9 viable consistency metrics or otherwise I'm calling shenanigans.

Ludwick gives it a riiiiide but just a long flyball.

7-2 Reds to the bottom of 9.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Luddy gave it a ride but Craig hauls it in.

He said he admires Matt Holliday. I admire Matt Holliday. Wonderful player. No problem with it.

Ludwick a foot short of 2 or 3 RBI right there.
