I wouldn't take too much comfort in these performances against Wainright.
This isn't the Wainright we all know.
Yeah, you never know...tough one. The only thing I'd say is assuming the run wouldn't have scored is to assume Jay wouldn't have gotten a base hit....which, for the most part, Jay has been solid against the Reds. Having said that...the sac worked and the Cards chipped away.
