This isn't the Wainright we all know.
Jesus look at his numbers before his last start against the Reds.

He's had an amazing season. What are you talking about?

Bad Waino or not, the Reds are torturing him over 2 games. Nobody else has come cloe to doing that. But no, this is clearly not close to his best work.

On August 23rd he threw a complete game with 9 K's and one earned run against the 83 win Atlanta Braves.

    Yes.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Good seasons sometimes end badly. I agree with the poster who said that the Cards could have a problem if Wainright continues to pitch poorly.

These guys are zoned in on Wainwright the last two meetings. Hard to believe. I thought he'd bounce back and be really tough today.
Rounding third and heading for home...
