It's almost a certainty that he's going to go under the .300 mark in the second half of a season for the first time in 4 years and his power numbers are down. I think most people just want to know why he's struggling lately.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Much cooler, better, bigger than anything we might write about Votto, the O or the team.

Agreed, and maybe Joey himself just needs a day or two.

Wow! Are we going to pay Choo whatever it takes to keep him? I so hope we will and really fear we won't.

The problem is All these othere players are nowhere near getting paid what Joey Votto is making. He was being paid to come up clutch which he has failed to do more times than not and now he couldnt even hit water if he fell out of a boat.

they do so passively aggressively by only focusing on Votto's struggles but never saying a word about the black holes at other positions.

Those 8 zillion posts about Heisey, Frazer, Itsuras, and Ondrusek notwithstanding.

Ah yes, the "he's not paid to walk... he's paid to hit! And be clutch!!" argument.

    He's paid to be himself.
