Interesting article in the Sunday NY Times about a super poker playing machine. Uses neural nets to learn and take on various personalities. Pretty interesting. Plays at a top 100 level.

    It's about
    the ball,
    the bat,
    the mitt,
    the bases,
    and the fans

At the game and sitting in RF. what happened at play at 3rd base to end inning - they wouldn't show it on board. ???

Freese kinda botched the play, but luckily it rolled towards third. He flopped out, grabbed it, and tagged the bag with the ball about 6 inches from the onrushing Rodriguez spikes.

Been a while since we've seen this sort of thing out of Joey at the plate. The fact that it's showing in the rest of his play as well is concerning for the team's chances the rest of this season.
