    1-0 Redlegs!
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Cingrani teaching the other Reds how to play winning baseball.

Kid is a tremendous competitor and a fine young pitcher.

    Bravo.

1 run. 6 baserunners. 2 innings. Zero hits out of the infield.

I wish I could have called Vegas and bet Cingrani was going to score. When you make three heads-up plays like that, things just seem to work out for you. That's just the way sports work.

And Billy. Classic rookie sparkplugs. I think we need to let Hamilton bat tonight.

If Derek Lilliquist can't hack it as a pitching coach, I see a bright future for him managing a Hardees.

No team scores ridiculous runs like that as well as we can.

This is how it started with Boston over Detroit last night. Can we put up 10 or more here?

Wow. Joey is lifeless at the plate right now. K's on a pitch at his eyes.
