Cards SS isn't exactly slapping the leather on 'em out there...

Had the game on pause. The dog hears the fireworks and starts barking. Good news. Hopefully Todd returns to last years form the rest of the way.

    It's a Cincinnati thing.

Take all of your team's problems and blame it on their best player. It's been happening for years and years. Same thing happens with The Bengals, too.

This pitcher is at 65 pitches, Reds need to get into the Cards pen tonight.

Not that it's a bad pen, but after last night get the relievers in there early and I think the Reds will get to them.

    Not going there.

I just want him to fix whatever is bothering him because it's obvious something is going on.

I love the guy. But he's been frustrating this year, especially over the past couple of months. We literally have the future of this franchise tied up in him over the next several years. He needs to be a guy who can carry us on his shoulders.

It's HR #14 on the year for Frazier. I thought for sure this year he would hit at least 20.

    Oh me too, for sure.

Makes no sense whatsoever. Reds haven't been getting production for 3B, SS, and LF for the majority of the year and somehow that's all Joey Votto's fault.

Wow....NFL is going all out on the opening game pregame hype. Feels like the Superbowl.

Around here we also tend to blame the weakest guy on the bench even if he never gets into the game. Like, it's all Izturis' fault. Or Wilson Valdez. Or Juan Castro.

Votto's in a slump, he'll get over it. Probably like any other slumping hitter, he's pressing. Just needs to relax and play his game.
