I guess Cezar is the designated bunter today.

    Izturis batting 2nd seems smart.

I guess Cozart hitting about .370 over the last month is a good reason not to bat him second for once. At least Izturis can bunt. Facing Greinke, though, this may be a 1-0 or 2-1 game anyway. There is good news for the Reds, though. Greinke is not LH. The Reds do ok against aces - it's the scrub LH dweeb that they have fits hitting. (I'm getting senile - thought for a minute Kershaw was RH - better win tonight)

I think this marks the first time Ludwick is playing a day game after a night game. Hopefully Dusty feels he is back too full strength now and he is done with sitting.

    Izturis batting second.

I hope he goes 4-4 with 2 Home Runs.

Grienke has allowed 2 runs or less in his last 7 starts. And 10 of his last 11.

Latos has allowed 2 runs or less in 8 of his last 9 starts.

Blacked out of the game, tremendous.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Servo, it could be worse. You could be in prison.

FOX thinks I would want to watch the Red Sox/Yankees.

    Thanks, FOX!

Not a terrific beginning. Makes the comeback more exciting!

Latos doesn't have much right now. Hopefully it's just a first inning thing.
