Well that was quick and unimpressive half inning for the Reds.
But they're not Votto. I agree in a perfect world, you'd have every hitter doing their jobs correctly. But they're not, and whether it's fair or unfair, Votto is good enough to make that kind of adjustment. They clearly aren't.Originally Posted by RedlegJake

If Votto had two more Vottos behind him, believe me, I'd be thrilled to death to have him do what he does every time up. Unfortunately though, Bruce is a feast or famine type hitter.

Also batters have an OPS of 1.389 when they hit line drives off Kershaw. So if we hit nothing but line drives tomorrow it should be no problem. Simple really.
