3 more innings - only 2 runs and they will get to the pen. This ain't over. Not by a long shot

Wood has average stuff at best....but is fun to watch pitch. He mixes up speeds and locations so well.

Unfortunately for him he is on teh Cubs and we will win regardless.

Wow. Impressive stat. Since '08, Bronson's walks per 9 have gone down EVERY year.

Understand, appreciate and love how these Reds approach games with D, best-in-baseball pitching and just-what's-necessary offense.

And, not a lick of worry about this game at this point.

All said, it'd be really nice to see the guys put up 5 or more in the first 5 or 6 innings. They've done it plenty before and the Cubs aren't that great however well Wood has pitched. Maybe tomorrow for that.

For tonight, let's start hammering the Cubs' pen and put this one into the W column. Can hit the gas pedal now.

I'm not so sure that Wood isn't just as good as some of these "great" pitchers we've been facing this past week.
