No disagreement there. It was that "not in the top tier" qualifier that prompted my response to Charles.

    Let's. Win. This.

Yep. Don't get it. Pinch hitter, hit's lefties, has pop. Why not?

Presumably Dusty thought Soto would make contact and might hit a home run. He was wrong.

Parra gets him. K. 2 out. Felt a lot better when Logan only stayed for 1 guy.

Nice running grab by Ludwick. That ball was tattooed.

    Handy Manny always delivers.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Use a player like Soto in a game where we're ahead. He's not going to be on the post season roster.

Yes. Winning the division matters a great deal.

And I don't understand what the nobody on has to with anything.

I love how many people are online here tonight and not watching some football game.

Seems RGIII & Co are getting dismantled by the new-look Eagles for any who care about that.

Back to the little bears...can we hit and score a few now? Heart of the order due up.

You might want to look at our bench again. There "might" be better options....but not by much.

    Wood out. Strop in.
