Great night honoring Morgan but why couldn't Pete have dressed up a little lol? I mean, come on. A t-shirt and camo hat?

He must not have flogged enough autographs to buy some decent clothes yesterday.
Or more likely he can't find anything that will fit.

I was thinking that as well. Come on Pete.
We're talking about Pete here... he's not known as much of a good dresser. The last few times I've seen him he was wearing ridiculous clothes, and always a gaudy Reds hat. Usually with a giant C on it.

"This field, this game, is a part of our past. It reminds us of all that once was good, and what could be again." -- Terence Mann
I can recall a "Sport Magazine" article on Pete back in 1968 which featured a discussion on the team bus among Pete and other Reds players comparing their mod 60's suits. IIRC Rose was wearing a bright gold colored suit but players seemed to agreed that a gaudy suit worn by Lee May was best.
Hey he was my idol as a kid but no one ever accused Pete of having good taste.
"Hey...Dad. Wanna Have A Catch?" Kevin Costner in "Field Of Dreams."
I noticed something too. Some threads being started that bring RZ down a notch or two in regard to GOOD baseball talk/discussion. Take this crap to the Nat'l Enquirer forum.

"Am I the only one who noticed?"
I donīt know, but I donīt give a sh1t about clothes of other people... if he wants to wear a shirt, thatīs fine with me..
I donīt judge someone because of his clothes...
His outfit could have been worse:

Pete Rose makes bad decisions in all sorts of arenas, clothes are the current venue for him .

The pictures showing Pete sitting during the ceremony made him look like an old guy feeding pigeons.
"Boys, I'm one of those umpires that misses 'em every once in a while so if it's close, you'd better hit it." Cal Hubbard
I don't know maybe it's something to do with "beggars clothes".
If some haberdashery had paid Pete to wear their clothes during the ceremonies, you can bet your last dollar he would have been dressed to the nines.
I think it's more along the lines of Pete trying to show his fans that he's just a regular guy from Cincinnati just like all the people who came out to the game. It's not like it's a bowling banquet or anything.
