If that happens, it will be the biggest win of the homstand...seriously.

Thanks, Dusty. I was afraid he was going to let Reynolds pitch his way out this pickle.

    Reynolds not exactly fooling anybody..
In Reynolds defense -- I think he's been sitting for ten days. He was supposed to backup Cingrani five days ago, and wasn't needed.

Now suddenly he's thrust into action. Some guys don't handle that too well.

I wouldn't be against giving Reynolds another shot next time around.

Nats leading Mets 4-1. Bucs over Rangers 1-0. Cards and Brew are scoreless.

Rizzo turned into that pitch. How does he get first?

If I'm Dusty I give this game six innings. If the Reds aren't back in it, I pull Votto, Phillips, Choo and Bruce and let them rest for the remainder of the evening.

After such a great weekend, it's disappointing to see such a lackluster effort from this team.

I agree but he had to be told before the game that he was the long man.

All parties involved need to remember that the Cubs are the Cubs.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
