Mesoraco's hammy must still be giving him issues. Hopefully he can get it healed up soon.

I would enjoy us getting a win tonight. I know we were facing a good pitcher last night but that game felt like a big letdown after our amazing week.

John Fay tweeted that Mes is "OK" (interpret that however you want) and that he'll be catching tomorrow.

Just stated Dusty does not want to use Mes in day after night game that is why he isn't in today - he is fine

The fact that Hanigan is hitting .500 against Jackson may have something to do with it.

    Donnie Murphy - cleanup hitter
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
