Hannahan is probably a better hitter than he's shown. It's a small sample, he's a good veteran bench player.

Not a starter, but over time I think he'd do better than this year.

    Good long ball there.

Interesting...should have seen it coming. Hannahan's OPS in the 6th inning in 2013 is 1.172. And that was before the HR.

we had @1,000 people at our store the first Sunday of August - wrote 700 sales tickets --- it is our annual "yard Sale" event that is just plain crazy

You should see the staff party after it -- lots of champagne & pizza --designated drivers required

Christ on a bike, this might be the most maddening team I've ever followed.

Funny, I was looking up his career vs. 2013 splits as he hit that HR. His BA against LHP and RHP is almost equal for his career...but this year, he's abysmal against lefties (around .111), and not very good against righties (.227). Career-wise, he's at .232 and .233.

I was wondering if Sveum knew that he had a bullpen available to use today.

Okay, I just got off the phone...but out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw something. Did Hannahan really just hit a dinger?!? Or was that big foot riding the loch ness monster I saw on my screen?

Kitty is still out there cheering "Let's get fired up" clap, clap, clap, clap, clap. She is not stopping until the 27th out is recorded.
