Aoki....blah! That guy wears on me for some reason.
They really tried to help, but we fought em hard to hold it to 1 run.
Welsh and Kelch enamored with Latos high ERA in 1st inning....worst of 1st 6 innings, as is Lohse.
Hmmm wonder why? Maybe it's the only guaranteed inning to face every teams lead off and #3 hitter and if anyone gets on they get 2 RBI guys batting next.
And the first inning on the mound is an adjustment of sorts from the BP.
finally made it in...
I expected you guys to have a lead going for me ... jeepers
Just reading over Game Day for the Pirates game. Pedro Alvarez hit an inside-the-park HR and then Pirates go ahead on a "missed catch error by pitcher Brooks Raley, assist to first baseman Anthony Rizzo. Andrew McCutchen scores." What the?
After 20 years, the baseball gods are feeling sorry for the Buccos.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"
Segura acts like Roberto Clemente every time he plays the Reds
Latos hasn't been too sharp the last two outings. Last Saturday was good from a runs perspective but there were a lot of hard hit balls by the Dodgers. So far tonight it's looking like more of the same.
Well....some on here have mentioned Aoki playing for the Reds next year....apparently Jim Kelch believes he already does as he just gave Aoki credit for Choo getting set up well to throw from CF.
Maybe all Choo's are Aoki's but not all Aoki's are Choo's......of course all Aoki's and Choo's are Suzuki's.

Segura had that base stolen but that was just a bad throw.
