2 runs per inning. If they continue that pace I'll get off the "bad offensive team" schtick

This guy needs to be in the Brewers rotation forever.

The ONLY bad thing about being in a pennant race is your team gets selected for blackout games. I'll live with it....don't like it....but I'll live with it....

The strange thing about today is at one point Fox announced it as a regional game and then dropped it. Which is why it is on FSN Ohio.

Fly out to center. 2 outs.

Has there been a better 1-2 on any team in the 2nd half this year than Latos-Bailey? Maybe Kershaw-Greinke?

Maldonado strikes out swinging. 2 Ks for Bailey. 4-0 Reds after 2

Brewers are hitting some hard line shots to the deep OF area.

Surprised either team is hitting the ball so well as it has to be pretty hard to see.

Latos threw 119 pitches yesterday as I recall. If the Reds keep a good lead, I'd pull Homer earlier today and give him an easy day. When possible they need to keep these starters fresh down the stretch.

Hellweg would fit right in on the 01-09 Reds.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Last night nothing the Reds hit fell, every dink the Brewers hit did. Latos had no luck at all and no help. Tonight Bailey;s getting all the help and luck. Baseball is random.
