HUH?!? Fielders interference. On Lucroy. Saved Votto from a boneheaded baserunning mistake. Both safe. Joey on 2nd, Jay on 1st.
What exactly happened? I'm blacked out here.
Joey was running on the play and Jay hit to the first baseman who touched first for the out. Joey rounded second with his head down and was caught out, but the interference call voided all of that and now there are runners at both bases and one out,
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
Good lord Joey... where did he think that throw was coming?
Another no slide out at home by Votto....broken record.
Base hit by Frazier to right, Aoki throws Votto out at the plate by, what, 15 feet?
Votto is striving for new lows...two TOOTBLANs in one inning
Base hit by Frazier and Votto does not slide and gets thrown out at the plate. Blames Cozart for not telling him to slide and once again the Reds blow the millionth scoring opportunity of the season.
how many times have we seen a coach not tell a player to slide and again a player who should be there telling Votto what was happening.. NOT do it thats not acceptable
