Liriano has a no hitter going. No hitter. No hitter. No hitter.

Is that a sufficient jinx or do I need more?

    Ugh. BP is slow.

What a dumb mistake by Brandon. The second that ball made it through, I knew he'd try for 3rd and get thrown out.

Brandon has a lot of good qualities but being a smart base runner is not one of them.
Actually a lot of the Reds have made some base running blunders this season.

I'm a big fan of aggression in competition. Phillips made a mistake of aggression. One could question Phillips' judgement, but the error was in being too aggressive rather than not enough. Keep making that play, Brandon. It'll be worth it sometime in the post-season.

Yep. And we sufficiently jinxed Liriano. Cubs have equalized 2-2 and that no-no is now long gone in the 7th.

If we play smart here to finish this, we can pick up some real ground...maybe.

Brandon's aggression in the 2012 post season blew up in his face.

In the commercial for the Windows tablet that MLB.tv shows over and over, is one of the front office guys who is talking to the scout Tim Robbins? Or just my imagination?
