I'd bet your right statistically. And I never accuse the team of "not trying." But the consistency of the offense has been making me nervous for a few years. Much more than our D, baserunning or, of course, pitching.

Hmmm. BP squaring with 2 out none on? Okay, better now. Decent hack at the first strike.

He's in the mode to give Arroyo a few minutes on the bench. He was bunting 0%.

It's been an excellent AB going about 8 or 9 pitches.

Pitchout type pitch perfect for Hanigan to nail Gomez.

    Suck it, Gomez.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Yeah I'm with you and I didn't mean to direct it at you even though I know my post followed you. I just know if in the 6th inning this is a 3-0 game still a couple posters will show and start talking about how the Reds just packed it in after a good first inning. Always happens.

    Holy Joey Votto...

Behind the back barehand flip to Arroyo for the out.

Watching the behind-the-back move for the final out by Votto had me thinking of that Votto/Werth "sports friends" video...for all the right reasons.

'Welcome to first, great to have you...er, sorry 'bout that. Maybe catch you around the 6th?'

What's with the quiet board today?

Bucs (2-0 5th) and Cards (1-0 3rd) are both up early but Cups and Ms still keeping things close. 2.5 back has been a barrier for us for awhile. Need to break through to a 2 or 1.5 gap. For today though, just don't lose any ground.

    Football's fault.
